Emmanuel (Haggai 1-2)

“Be strong, all your peoples of the land, declares the Lord. Work, for I am with you…” Haggai 2:4

Every week I find myself praying for miracles.  Miracles of healing, miracles of restoration, miracles in circumstances, provision, protection.  These are things that we seek God to move his hand of blessing upon.  We ask Him to change what we cannot.  It’s not our right but we pray that it would be His will.  This morning I was praying for a couple miracles.  And at that moment this verse was realized in my spirit.  That we have been given a miracle every day.  The presence of God.

He is with us.  When things go wrong.  He is with us.  When things go right.  He is with us.  When we have no where to turn, no one to tell, no way to survive.  He is with us.  Every day, He shows up.  Those people who are dearest to us are the ones who are there.  Not necessarily with the greatest wisdom.  But with the most consistent presence.  Those are the people of which we feel forever indebted.  And thus Jesus declares unto us that “I will never leave or forsake you and am with you to the very end of the age.”

Know that what you need most is the realization of the daily miracle given to us all.  The presence of God.  Live this day knowing that God is with you!
